 An introduction section outlining the background of the research topic/problem.
 A well formulated research question and research aims.
 A section indicating the methodology and methods that you will use in carrying out your work.
 An outline of the subsections that the dissertation will be broken into with a short summary of the main ideas or arguments that will be discussed in each section. You should include key themes theoretical perspectives and methodological considerations that have emerged from your research when formulating this.

Any other supporting information which shows progress on this research project
should be presented as appendices. This could include an annotated bibliography of key articles you have found or a Gantt chart showing time management. Any appendices will not be included in the word count.

Completion of this assessment will address the following learning outcomes:

1.Demonstrate an ability to work independently whilst demonstrating good time management skills in the development of the dissertation.
2. Formulate a critical awareness of research methodologies and theoretical perspectives.
3. Critically examine current research from the UK and internationally into health and social determinants within your chosen topic
