Description of the assignment:
Using an organisation that you have investigated for the assignment one as an example reflect on the
practical leadership of innovation and change in an organisation (s). You are allowed to choose another
organisation or even review two examples.
You must:
1) Identify and discuss the changing forces that drive significant changes in the chosen organisation (s).
2) Develop an insight what type/style of leadership is likely to be most successful in an organisation to
create and enhances people’s adaptive capacities and manage innovation and change by integrating and
critically reflecting on different perspectives of leadership taught in this module. There are a lot of leadership theories available for you to draw on. You will be using your informed opinion to choose a
theory and review it in relation with your organisation (s). You have to justify your choice and evaluate it
against other leadership theories.
3) Support all your arguments with appropriate references.
4) Summarise and offer recommendations (no less than 2 and no more than 3) for the appropriate leadership based on your analysis for the chosen organisation (s).

Structure of this Assignment :
The word count should not exceed 2000 words ( +/- 10%), excluding the following: title page, references and appendices (if applicable). You can include tables, diagrams and images where appropriate, but these
must have a caption and a source of reference included. The use of Harvard Referencing style is
essential. The font size (11or12) must be the same throughout the report and you are expected to use
either Arial or Times New Roman, as your font option. Ensure you include page numbers.

2.Introduction –The introduction should provide a road map, outlining the key points to be considered to navigate the reader to the rest of your report.

3. Describe the leadership style/type of organisation (s) and evaluate it against other style/type of
