Marking Criteria:
Marks are awarded for the correct answer with appropriate references in accordance with the attached Level 5 Performance Descriptors

The word limit is a total of 2500 words– excluding references and any appendices.(+10% above the word count is allowable). This task contains a scenario with two questions. As guidance, question one could have around 2000 words and question 2 is about 500 words.

ASSIGNMENT TASK:
During this unprecedented times of pandemic in the world and in particular to UK,Conference centres in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow and Harrogate and the University of West England (UWE) in Bristol have been earmarked as emergency hospital sites to help ease the pressure on the NHS. East London’s ExCeL exhibition centre which normally plays host to lifestyle shows, expos and conferences, has been converted into a temporary NHS Nightingale hospital, with space for 4,000 beds and completed recently.

Q1. Discuss the importance and application of any four health and safety
regulations that should have been considered during the construction of the
Nightingale hospital.

Q2. Assuming a major injury has occurred during construction; discuss the
reporting mechanism and the regulation related to it.
