Description of the assignment:
This assignment requires you to engage with the case study and extra material related to the topic allocated to the learning set. Students will meet and plan a 20-minute discussion, including 10 minutes Q&A related to the given topic by bringing in key theories from the relevant chapter and additional academic sources.

Students are required to argue in support of their own judgement and concentrate on critical thinking and reflection. Therefore, they should present an evaluative perspective using the most convincing
explanations of the analysis carried out and build up arguments in defence of the best interpretation of contemporary business trends.

The core textbook by Grant and Jordan (2015) is the primary guide and source for theoretical underpinnings. However, the use of theories/concepts/frameworks/models from other relevant sources
are acceptable.

Students must ensure that, any additional academic source(s) is obtained from the Online Library on Study net.

Performance will be assessed using HBS Grading Criteria. The Marking Scheme for this assignment is:

Assessment 1 B: Individual Report-based Submission (based on Group Learning Discussion)
Case study activity – Report-based overview of key points from the learning set discussion (with headings and subheadings)

  • Students are required to prepare a write up within 10 days of their learning set discussions. They must ensure that, a 1000 word structured report, including headings and subheadings, addressing the questions on the allocated topic submitted on time.
