You are required to produce a presentation approx.10 ppt slides) entitled ‘Training and Development needs for an HR officer’. Your PPT slides should be supported with 1000 words (+/- 10%) of speaker notes employing academic models, methods, and theories to develop an understanding of HR officer role in a separate Word document. PPT slides should have both visual-appeal and be robust in content.

TASK DESCRIPTION:
Assume you have been appointed as a graduate trainee Human Resource (HR) Officer within the Human Resources Department of a large organisation. In order to develop an understanding of your role as an HR Officer your manager has requested you to;

1.Determine appropriate knowledge, skills and behaviours (KSB) that are required by HR professionals across the department. Please refer to Appendix A for an overview of HR Officer responsibilities.
2.Conduct a personal skills audit for yourself (with the use of appendix B) and identify training and development needs considering the knowledge, skills and behaviours you identified in task (1)
3.Critically assess the potential benefits to the organisation of developing you as an HR officer through effective training and development

As a helpful approximate guideline, an indicative word count of about 1000 words (speaker notes) would be appropriate.

The learning should be related to either their current organisation, or if not currently working with in an organisation, they may complete this task in relation to an organisation with which they are familiar. This could include experience working in a voluntary capacity. You need to include well-
chosen visuals and academic references, formatted according to Harvard.

N.B:
1.Your presentation should be individual, but you are encouraged to work collaboratively to support one another through to the final digital production of your finished presentation. You are required to submit the slides and supporting speaker notes(approximately 1000 words) in a Microsoft Word document through Moodle.
