LO 4: Discuss recommendations on how to lead teams during transitional periods in a health and care setting to achieve maximum organisational performance.
LO 5: Graduate attribute: Discipline expertise – Knowledge and under standing of the chosen field. Possess a range of skills to operate within this sector have a keen awareness of current developments in working practice being well-positioned to respond to change.

Your assignment should include: a title page containing your student number the module name the submission deadline and the exact word count of your submitted document the appendices if relevant; and a reference list in AU Harvard system(s). Assignment Task
The Care centre provides in four specialties: (1) nursing and dementia care (2) care for adults with neurological conditions (3) complex behaviour care and (4) general nursing. The latest inspection carried out in November 2021
TASK 1 :-
As an experienced social care leader, you were commissioned to write a Leadership consultancy report’ for the company. This will require you to familiarise yourself with the inspection judgement at first.
Subsequently you are to explore the relevant theories of leadership including an analysis of organisational culture concepts such as selection recruitment organisational missions vision and objectives as well as organisational scanning tools such as PESTEL.

You are required to advise a board of directors about what decision the care company should make and why in order to implement the right type of leadership for organisational improvement so that the sub sequent re inspection would confidently amend the out come to good.
This will be written as a report.
Alternatively you can find another company, possibly your current employer and propose it as an alternative case study to the one offered. The company however needs to have a track able CQC report available online to see areas that it needs to improve and your module tutor needs to approve it before you complete the assignment.
TASK 2
Write a critical reflection using either Kolb’s or Gibb’s reflective cycle on various leadership styles and approaches suitable for the improvement of the care settings in context of the consultancy report. You need to draw on the report in task 1 as well as your own workplace experience to evidence own leadership development needs.
