What am I required to do in this assignment?
There is one assessment on the unit, which will take the form of a 2500 word case study.
Part one : of the assessment involves students choosing a case study of one country that demonstrates the multiple ways in which people are forced to migrate from their country of origin.
Part two: Once this country has been chosen, part two of the assessment is to focus on both the human rights situation in that country and the details of the nature and scope of forced migration from that country.
Part three: of the assessment is to examine the extent of asylum applications or cases of human trafficking in the UK from the country of origin chosen.

1.The use of a minimum of fifteen sources is required to pass Assessment 1.
2.You are expected to show evidence of the use of a minimum of five academic texts (peer-reviewed books/journals).
3.You should use lecture notes only as a guide and over reliance on lecture notes will be penalised. Remember this is the minimum requirement to pass; students are encouraged to carry out wider reading.
4.You must use the Harvard referencing system in your reference list.
5.No more than 5 –10% of your case study should be in the form of quotations.
6.You should also include a word count for the case study.
7.You must submit your assessment to the Grades Centre by 10am on the given submission date.

2 Outline the human rights situation in that country, linking your data with the human rights and refugee legal frameworks introduced to you in the unit.
