You can consult with your employer and learn the project they would like to initiate and use the materials for that project for your assignment. Please note that ethical considerations should be followed in the PID.
Project Idea from Media
You can consider writing about the project that you read/came across in the media that inspired you and you want to consider as future development. However please consider to develop a nuance and personalise it (e.g. a specific target population location etc.). The work should be individual and address the course requirements. Please consider the intellectual property of the source while presenting the ideas.
Case study :-
Since March 2019 COVID 19 pandemic lethally affected about 150 thousand lives in UK and left many families devastated with its impact financially and emotionally causing personal loss and longer term consequences of the disease. There was enormous pressure on the NHS and particularly the Health Protection Agency to organise the Vaccination Centres. The rapid government response was crucial under external and internal pressure. Also there was a need for world class research to be conducted to develop the vaccine as well as understand the response and outcome of vaccination hence improving the vaccine. There was high absenteeism in hospitals and a shortage of medical staff. Thus there was a need for rapid on-job training of 500 medical students/volunteers to cover the personnel. So the UK Government has authorized funding for a new Vaccination Centre/s in London.
The Government Accountability Office GAO demanded strict requirements designed to ensure the project team remained careful stewards of taxpayer funds. That meant the team had to maintain a sharp focus on managing quality risk scope and stake holders.
The project is to outline the overall rebuilding process as well as several program and change management elements that contributed to program-level performance outcomes which were essential to realizing the long term benefits associated with the vaccination.
