What am I required to do in this assignment?
Produce an E-Portfolio on a chosen organisation in the hospitality or tourism sector.
Once you have decided on your organisation, you must then produce an E.Portfolio with the following included:
- Identify the position of the organisation in the tourism value chain and explain its role within the chain
- Describe the organisation’s product portfolio and the major market in which it operates
- Identify the organisation’s main competitors and explain the current challenges to improve quality services and maintain customer loyalty.
Guidance
- Whilst you are not writing an essay, the E.Portfolio must still be to a professional standard
- An E.Portfolio requires you to develop the ability to communicate in a succinct and effective manner
- Ensure that you draw on a wide range of sources; do not solely rely on the organisation website to search for information
- Apply the university guidelines for referencing i.e. use Harvard Referencing System, and include a bibliography

How does this assignment relate to what we are doing in scheduled sessions?
