Attendance Guidance :-
Students are expected to attend all workshops and seminars facilitated by the Academic Dean of Undergraduate Studies, and they are also expected to attend the one-to-one meetings scheduled with their respective supervisors to discuss progress on their dissertation.
Module Content
Private theological research under the supervision of a designated tutor.
Aims :
The module aims to:
1.Develop students’ ability to carry out independent and sustained research under supervision.
2.Develop students’ theological articulation in a written thesis format.

Methods of Learning and Teaching and Formative Assessment :-
394 hours of private study with a further 6 hours of tutor contact which includes work shops seminars webinars (4 hours) and supervision (2 hours). As a formative assessment students are expected to write a research proposal.
Learning Outcomes :-
Students should be able to:
1.Demonstrate a clear independence of judgment in the choice of topic.
2.Demonstrate skills in conducting critical and analytical research in the chosen area of specialisation.
3.Provide cogent and creative theological application of the topic within the context of the Church and/or
broader society.
4.Present the research results in a thesis form, demonstrating fluency in written communication and coherent structuring of complex material.
